I don't want to worry about it's finish I'll likely coat it anyhow. (My favorite 22) ratty the better as I want it as a truck/ ATV gun and it will see rough use. I would really like to find a 24C 22/20g and re chamber to Maggie. The gun itself is in 'good condition Id say.
The serial number E263xxx if that helps out any. The 20 guage barrell holds either 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells. I was hoping to find out its age most importantly and also whats it worth.

I'm not a Savage 24 expert, but have been researching them for a few years and do own a few. As a result, they won't stabilize heavier bullets too well.
